I love that I can call myself a ‘maker’; it makes me feel proud to be making things with my head, heart and hands. Working in clay uses both of my hands and the process makes me slow right down. The raw results of the first making stage, so far away from the finished pieces, bring a feeling of promise and moments of joy into my day.
