I love to make these because I am working so closely with the porcelain that when I tear the edges I am never quite sure what the final result will be and this is what makes them special.

There is always a degree of relinquishing power to the clay and I love and respect that. So no two will ever be the same but that is really what makes them special.

I like these on their own as statement pieces but I know that people use them for precious jewellery and occasionally tea lights.
