White Porcelain and Gold Lustre Miniature Vases
I have been making miniature vases for several years now and they are always in demand with their open lips and curvy sides. They make really special gifts as they are as delightful with one stem or a tiny bunch of daisies as they are in a small group where the negative space between them is almost as interesting as the vases themselves!
I originally made these for those tiny flowers such as daisies and buttercups that we never have anywhere small enough for. Their individuality is what makes them really special. No two are ever the same.
The lustre will retain its shine and it is applied in the third of three firings. These vases can be washed in warm soapy water and polished with a soft cloth.
