My vases come in all shapes and sizes and these two are a bit precious.
Hand formed in black porcelain they have straight sides and are filled with gold lustre.
They are just as pretty on their own as when filled with a tiny posy of flowers. This is one of the joys of working in these wonderful materials.
The finished result can stand alone or it can be functional.
The lustre will retain its shine and it is applied in the third of three firings. These vases can be washed in warm soapy water and polished with a soft cloth.
